The 1960 West German black-and-white crime thriller "Đavo mami s ljubavlju" was directed by Rudolf Jugert, blending distinct elements of film-noir and melodrama. Produced by the German studio Rapid Film in collaboration with Ljubljana's Triglav Film for technical services, the production was shot on location across Rijeka—including the iconic Korzo promenade, what is known today as Jadranski Square, and the area surrounding the main railway station. The film eventually made its local theatrical debut in Rijeka in 1962.
