Ova povijesna drama smještena je u maleno dalmatinsko planinsko selo početkom 20. stoljeća gdje stiže Čileanka Teresa, tvrdeći da je udovica starješininog brata koji je poginuo u čileanskom rudniku. Dolazak misteriozne strankinje, koja ne poznaje ni jezik ni običaje, unosi nemir, ali i slobodu, u zatvorenu ruralnu zajednicu.

Svjetska premijera ove povijesne drame s elementima misterija u kojoj se spajaju atmosfera romana sestara Brönte, Balkan i vestern održana je na prestižnom 78. Filmskom festivalu Locarnu, gdje je osvojila dvije nagrade Zlatni leopard za najbolju glumu (Manuella Martelli i Ana Marija Veselčić).
