Located nearby Kantrida Football Stadium, 50 meters from the sea is one of Rijeka’s most specific buildings, Athletics Hall Kantrida, which stands out due to its pebblestone-ceramics decorated façade, intended to create a visual effect of shimmering and rippling of the sea through the open vista spanning from the Istarska Street towards the Rijeka Bay. The hall was built in 2010 and offers athletic practices as well as other kinds of sports manifestations - located inside it is a 12 meters high artificial climbing rock.
