Momo, an orphan girl living in the ruins of an old amphitheater, spends her days with her best friend Gino, listening to the stories of the neighborhood people. But when a powerful company begins stealing people's time, everyone becomes overworked – even Gino. Lonely Momo sets off on a wondrous adventure with the help of a mysterious tortoise and Master Hora, the keeper of time, to stop the time thieves and return the most valuable thing to the people.
