"Hotel Portofino" is a British historical drama series whose third season premiered in 2024. Although the plot is set in the idyllic Italian resort of Portofino in the late 1920s under the shadow of the rise of fascism, the series attracted immense attention in the region because it was largely filmed in Croatia. Following the first two seasons of the British series, which were filmed at multiple locations across Croatia, the third season was shot in the Kvarner region. The role of the titular hotel was taken over by a villa in Lovran. Part of the scenes were filmed in Rijeka, on the Rijeka Resolution Square. The recognizable vistas of Opatija, Kostrena, and Klana are also featured.
