The 1957 West German romantic musical comedy "Grof od Luxemburga" was directed by Werner Jacobs, serving as a lavish cinematic adaptation of Franz Lehár's celebrated operetta. A portion of the feature was shot on location in Rijeka, utilizing the panoramic terrace of Hotel Park alongside a vast crowd of local extras. Additionally, key performance sequences featuring a full ballet ensemble and an opera orchestra were recorded inside the historic Rijeka Theatre.
