Povijesno-špijunski, ratni film Gospođica doktorica u produkciji talijanske producentske kuće Dino de Laurentis Cinematografica i zagrebačkog Jadran filma, sniman je, pored ostalog, na podmornici u riječkoj luci. Radnja je inspirirana stvarnim životom Elsbeth Schragmüller, legendarne i tajanstvene njemačke špijunke iz Prvog svjetskog rata koja je u povijesti ostala zapamćena pod kodnim imenom Fräulein Doktor. Priča prati njezine visoko rizične operacije, infiltraciju među neprijateljske redove, krađe vojnih tajni te njezinu kompleksnu i tragičnu unutarnju borbu s moralom i lojalnošću domovini dok oko nje bjesni rat.
