Directed by Ivan Hetrich, Veliko putovanje" is a children's adventure film centered on two mischievous schoolboys who hatch a plan to run away to America. Due to a poor grasp of geography, however, they mistakenly travel to Rijeka, where they inadvertently board a ship bound for the island of Rab instead. Brought to life by Zora Film, this charming feature includes on-location sequences filmed throughout Rijeka's bustling city center, its historic harbor, the water polo court at the municipal public baths, and aboard the coastal passenger ship "Vuk Karadžić".
