Bff

As we grow up, we share our happy and sad moments with our friends. The bigger the problems, the closer we become to those we hold dear. Some friendships last, enduring all the changes of growing up, while others are lost along the way; yet every friendship leaves a deep impression and plays an important role in who we are today. BFF is a story about friendship and growing up, following four young women over a span of 10 years. What is it that makes us friends? How much are we willing to change just to fit in? Using archival footage recorded by the protagonists themselves ten years ago as teenagers, the film offers a unique insight into the lives of young women from Rijeka and the transformations they undergo as they grow up. The film was produced by the Filmaktiv association and the Edinburgh College of Art.
