Kantrida Football Stadium is the third most unusual stadium in the world, according to the CNN’s list. Why is that so? It is located on an old quarry site right next to the sea, meaning that the viewers are placed among majestic rocks on one side and deep blue sea on the other, which is why they call it “the stadium under the rocks”. It is suitable for different sport manifestations like football and athletics, and can receive up to 10 000 visitors.
