“Digital Hartera” is an artistic research project that deals with the revival of the memory of the former Rijeka Paper Factory through personal stories, sound, video, drawing and documentation. Students of the APURI map the memories of people connected to Hartera, recording them through audio interviews, visual interventions and a film in the making. They are Marija Konfic, Enia Kozarić and Ana Marija Lončar. With the help of QR codes placed in the space and on the web, visitors will be able to listen to the stories of Hartera’s people – important actors who dealt with it – in the place where they happened. The aim of the project is not nostalgic recollection, but active preservation and transformation of industrial heritage through contemporary, digital media language.
